The things travellers ask first

Device compatibility

Your phone needs eSIM support and must be carrier-unlocked. Most flagships from 2019 onward qualify. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID, you are eSIM-ready.

Installing your eSIM

Scan the QR from your order email while on Wi-Fi, before you travel. The full step-by-step guide for iPhone and Android is below.

Payments

Checkout is processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD; VAT (where it applies) is shown before you pay — nothing is added afterwards.

Top-ups & reuse

Where a plan supports top-up, you can extend the same eSIM without buying a new one. Otherwise, just buy a fresh plan next trip.

Coverage & speed

Every plan lists the partner networks it runs on and connects at 4G/5G where the local network supports it. The destination, networks and validity are shown before you pay — never a vague “5G everywhere” promise.

Data only — what's not included

A travel eSIM is a data-only line. It does not include a phone number, voice calls or SMS unless a plan states otherwise — keep your home SIM active for calls and one-time passcodes.

FAQ

Quick answers

My QR email did not arrive

Check your spam folder first. Once signed in you can also re-download the QR from your dashboard. Still stuck? Email support and we will resend it.

When does my plan start counting down?

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a network at your destination, not when you install it — so you can set it up safely at home.

Can I get a refund?

Unused eSIMs (no data consumed, profile not yet activated) are refundable within 14 days — see our Refund Policy.

Will my normal number still work?

Yes. An eSIM is a second line. Keep your home SIM active for calls and texts and use Esimky for data.

Can I install the eSIM before I travel?

Yes — install it at home on Wi-Fi. Validity only starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, so setting it up early does not waste any days.

Which devices support eSIM?

Most iPhones from XR/XS onward, recent Google Pixel, and flagship Samsung Galaxy devices support eSIM and must be carrier-unlocked. Dial *#06# — if an EID is listed, your phone is eSIM-ready.

How fast will the eSIM arrive?

The QR code and manual activation codes are emailed right after payment — usually within about a minute. There is no app to install and no store visit.

What happens when my data or validity runs out?

The eSIM simply stops carrying data. Plans that support top-up can be extended without buying a new one; otherwise just rent a fresh plan for your next trip — there is no auto-renewal or surprise charge.
