How it works

From checkout to connected

No plastic SIM, no kiosk queue, no app. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you pick a plan to the moment you are online abroad.

How it works

Choose a plan, scan once, go online

1

Choose country and days

Pick where you need data, then compare eSIM plans by GB, validity, and price per GB.

2

Pay for your plan

Pay securely with Stripe. The eSIM profile is assigned for your trip as soon as payment clears.

3

Get the QR by email

The eSIM profile lands in your inbox in about a minute. No app download required.

4

Use it for the trip

Scan once, keep your home SIM for calls, and use Esimky for mobile data until the plan expires.

Setup

How you’ll install it

Three steps, a couple of minutes — and you can do it all at home before you fly.

1

Check your email

Right after payment we email your eSIM with a QR code and step-by-step setup.

2

Scan the QR code

Open Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM and scan the code from the email.

3

Turn it on when you land

Enable the eSIM line for data roaming at your destination — you are connected.

Your eSIM, in your inbox

Delivered by email, nothing to download

About a minute after payment, this exact email lands in your inbox — a receipt with your QR code and the manual codes as a backup. Open the Camera, scan once, and you are online.

Good to know

Questions travellers ask first

What exactly am I buying?

You get a data-only travel eSIM profile for a selected destination, data allowance, and validity period.

When should I install it?

Install the profile before you fly, then switch data to Esimky when you land. The plan terms on the card show the validity period.

Is this a phone number?

No. These are data-only eSIM plans for internet access. Voice calls, SMS, and phone numbers are not included unless a plan says so.

What if my phone is not eSIM-capable?

The Help center has a compatibility check. If your device is not supported, do not install the profile and contact support before activating.
